State Police didn’t have to go far to find an alleged burglar.

Yasmin M. Vasquez, 25, was found in the basement of a Brunswick home Tuesday and arrested.

Vasquez forcibly entered the home that day and the day before, then damaged items inside, police said.

Police found a burglary tool at the residence, they said.

Vasquez was charged with two counts each of burglary and criminal mischief. She was also charged with possession of burglar tools.

She was arraigned in Schaghticoke Town Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of bail.
