Altamont Fair to stop including rides in admission price

You’ll see some changes at the Altamont Fair this year.

Organizers say this year, the gate admission and ride pricing are now separate.

Until now, one single admission price included rides.

Gate admission is $5 on opening day. It will be $13 the rest of the week.

The fair runs from Tuesday, August 15, through Sunday, August 20.
