Republican Ralph Ambrosio is set to officially launch his candidacy for Albany County District Attorney on Thursday.

Ambrosio obtained his law degree while serving with the New York State Police and went on to become an assistant district attorney in Green and Columbia counties. He also served as a public defender before becoming assistant attorney general under Dennis Vacco.
