The American Cancer Society on Friday kicked off its Men Wear Pink fundraiser.

For the seventh year in a row, CDTA rolled out a 40-foot pink bus to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research and treatment.

This year, the bus has a new design with the word Hope on one side.

CDTA CEO Carm Basile said the organization’s fundraising efforts started out with just a small group and then it took off from there.

“All of a sudden, we’re raising a lot of money,” he said.

Lizzie Hunter, director of development for the American Cancer Society said they get so many requests every year for the bus to be at different events.

The month long campaign will conclude with an event with teams competing against each other to pull a 30,000-pound bus.
