A 9/11 ceremony was held at Riverlink Park in Amsterdam. It honored all the lives lost and the city’s own first responders.

“There was a deep sense of unity we hadn’t seen in a long time. We were a nation grieving together, yet standing tall,” Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara said.

That event was hosted by the Amsterdam Tourism, Marketing, & Recreation Department.
