Amsterdam man accused of possessing child pornography
An Amsterdam man was arrested Friday for allegedly possessing child pornography.
Francis T. DiCaprio, 29, is accused of possessing a phone that contained numerous electronic files depicting the sexual abuse of children, the U.S. Attorneys’ Office said.
Also on the phone was a conversation on an encrypted instant messaging service, where DiCaprio is accused of soliciting and receiving child pornography files.
If convicted, DiCaprio faces at least 5 years and up to 20 years in prison and a maximum fine of $2500,000.
