Amsterdam sex offender accused of not updating address

A man from Amsterdam is arrested after allegedly failing to register as a sex offender.

Daniel Rivera, 40, moved into Amsterdam and did not properly change his address as required by law, police said.

Rivera is a Level 3 sex offender, and is currently on parole for alleged rape.

He turned himself in, said police, and was sent to the Montgomery County Jail.
