Amsterdam woman accused of stealing $88,000+ from victim

An Amsterdam woman is accused of stealing more than $88,000.
Cynthia Mecca, 62, from Amsterdam was arrested by state police last week.
She stole the money from the victim while acting as their power of attorney, investigators said.
She was issued an appearance ticket and is expected in court next week.
