$2,000 reward offered in Claverack animal cruelty investigation

An animal cruelty investigation has begun in Columbia County.
The Columbia-Greene Humane Society is looking for the owners of two dogs that were found on Schoolhouse Road in Claverack.
The humane society is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
One dog died on his way to emergency care. The second dog, now named Juliet, is being treated for starvation and dehydration.
