The annual festival brings dragon boats to Waterford, where the Hudson and Mohawk Rivers meet, for a day of activity and competition.
This year, the money raised from the event is benefiting To Life!
It’s a non-profit organization that supports those dealing with breast cancer.
We caught up with the coach from one of the teams, called hope in the boat.
She told us every member of the team is a breast cancer survivor.

A dragon boat is a 42-foot lightweight boat powered by up to 20 paddlers and 1 drummer.
