Anti-cannabis advocates are suing New York state for what they said is unconstitutional support of marijuana dispensaries.

The lawsuit comes from the Cannabis Impact Prevention Coalition and Cannabis Industry Victims Seeking Justice. It claims the state has unfairly boosted dispensaries by providing preferential funding.

The suit also said the state is violating federal law by abusing its power to support the cannabis industry.
