Gov. Kathy Hochul announced applications are now open for the state’s Tuition Assistance Program.

Hochul calls it part of New York’s commitment to making education accessible for everyone.

The program has provided nearly $30 billion to help New Yorkers pay for college.
This is the 50th year of the initiative.
