Arrest made in Albany restaurant burglary

A man is in jail, accused in the burglary of an Albany restaurant.

Benjamin Rivera damaged the front window of TapAsia restaurant at 227 Lark Street back on September 20, police. He then allegedly went in and stole the cash register.

Police tracked him down at 1 a.m. Thursday. He tried to run, said police, but was arrested.

He’s now facing a list of charges, including burglary, criminal mischief, and resisting arrest.
