Arrest made Lake George hit-and-run involving bicyclist

A man from Lake George is facing charges, accused of hitting and injuring a person riding their bike and leaving the scene.
Delbert Rodrigo Machicao hit the bicyclist with a car at the intersection of Route 9 and Bloody Pond Road in Lake George on Friday, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Post-Star reported.
Witnesses were able to obtain the vehicle’s registration, leading to the arrest.
The cyclist suffered a fractured femur and ankle, and was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
