Two people have been charged in Berkshire County drug investigations.

Police arrested Tyrone Byrd, 41, last week after searching a known drug house, they told NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle.

Officers found more than 500 bags of what they believe is heroin as well as crack cocaine, they said, along with $1,700 in cash.

Pittsfield Police also arrested Lemarr Talley, 40, for allegedly having drugs at his home, the Eagle reported. Byrd has been arraigned and Talley is likely to be arraigned on Tuesday.
