Artists turn drab Lake George electrical boxes into colorful art

Lake George is looking to some local artists to add a touch of beauty to the community.
The village hired five artists to decorate four electrical boxes along Canada Street.
The artists were given three weeks to complete their nature scenes, which will remain on the boxes for about three to five years and then will be redone.
Project Power Up was a partnership between the Village of Lake George and the Lake George Arts Project.
