Autism Society Greater Hudson celebrates 30 years in the community
On December 28, the Autism Society Greater Hudson Region will celebrate 30 years with a special black-tie gala. The event is aimed to raise awareness and funds to continue providing resources and programs for the autism community.
The organization continues to serve hundreds of families across the capital region each year. News Channel 13 spoke with the organization’s new executive director to discuss how donating at the gala has become more of an investment in the community.
“We serve 21 counties, so your donation invests in support, services, and education. Our five core values are what the Autism Society Greater Hudson Region provides for our community,” Tracy Schober said. “And that includes education, advocacy, support groups, community events, information and referral… So all very important to our community.”
The gala will take place on December 28 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy. Tickets and links to donate can be found here.
