They also confirmed that 35-year-old Timothy Taylor is the same man wanted for the murder of a woman in New York City, also this month.

The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of Taylor.

Schenectady police want to question Taylor about the murder of his ex-wife, 44-year-old Tishawn Folkes-Taylor.

She was found unconscious in her Pleasant Street home Sunday morning in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood of Schenectady. She was later pronounced dead.

Police said an autopsy found the cause of her death was stabbing.

At the same time, New York City detectives want to talk to Taylor about the murder of his girlfriend, 37-year-old Theresa Gregg.

They found her body May 13 in Brooklyn. She had also been stabbed to death.

According to reports out of New York City, she was a pregnant mother of two who worked as an officer for the city’s Department of Homeless Services.

Taylor is described as 5 foot 9, 160 pounds, with a tattoo on the left side of his neck.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Schenectady police say they are working with New York City police on this case.
