Behavioral health advocates rally at state Capitol over cost of living

Behavior health advocates at the state Capitol in Albany on Wednesday were calling on Gov. Hochul to include an 8.5% cost-of-living adjustment in her budget.

Supporters say the state must address increasing costs such as gas, food, and utilities, as people continue to do more with less.

Gov. Hochul’s is currently proposing a 2.5% budget increase.
