Bennington County dentist allegedly prescribed drugs to herself
A Bennington County dentist is accused of purchasing controlled substances for her personal use.
Dr. Catherine A. Cech, 64, of Arlington, was charged with one count of prescription fraud, according to the Vermont Attorney General’s Office.
An investigation conducted by the Secretary of State’s Office of Professional Regulation and Drug Enforcement Administration alleged that Cech was using her assigned DEA registration number to purchase these drugs.
Cech was arraigned in Vermont Superior Court Monday and released with orders that restrict her access to controlled substances.
