Bennington County woman accused of assault

A Bennington County woman seriously injured someone in her family, police said.

It happened around 9:45 a.m. Sunday, according to investigators.

Melissa Brown, 45, was charged with aggravated domestic assault. She was released on conditions and was scheduled to be in Bennington County Superior Court on Monday afternoon.
