Bennington County woman arrested on federal warrant

A woman wanted on a federal warrant was arrested in Bennington County.

Vermont State Police assisted the U.S. Marshals Service in serving a warrant for Candace Walsh, 39, of Arlington. Fisher Elementary School and Arlington High School implemented safety protocols while police carried out the nearby operation. The safety procedures were lifted at 12:30 p.m.

Walsh was arrested without incident.

Vermont State Police had no further information and referred comments to the U.S. Marshals Service.
