A Bennington man was picked up Sunday on an arrest warrant.

Vermont State Police stopped Richard L. Bump, 35, in the area of North Street in the town of Bennington. Bump had a warrant out of New York in a drug case, investigators said.

He was arrested and transported to the Marble Valley Correctional Facility for lack of $50,000 bail.

Bump is scheduled to be arraigned in Bennington County Superior Court- Criminal Division on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.
