The town of Lee, Massachusetts is refiling its lawsuit against Monsanto and General Electric.
The lawsuit says both companies caused intentional harm to the community by dumping harmful chemicals into the Housatonic River.
The suit was originally filed last year, but dropped in July because the lawyer leading the case was dealing with a family emergency.
Now the town says both companies knew the chemicals impacted human health and that any damage done was intentional.
