Berne man accused of leaving child, 3, alone

A Berne man is facing endangerment charges, accused of leaving a child alone.
The Albany County Sheriff’s Office started investigating after reports of a 3-year-old child left alone in a parking lot, they said.
Richard Pugh is accused of leaving the child unsupervised outside of his home.
Child Protective Services was notified, and Pugh turned himself in on Wednesday morning.
He is now facing child endangerment charges, and was arraigned in Westerlo.
