Bethlehem CSD adopting tax exemption for first responders

Bethlehem Central School District is adopting a first of its kind tax exemption for first responders.
The Board of Education approved a resolution allowing a partial school property tax exemption for qualified volunteer firefighters and volunteer ambulance workers who own homes and work within the school district.
The decision will allow those eligible a 10% school property tax exemption.
