Boil water advisory issued in Colonie through at least Sunday

The Colonie Water Department said a boil water advisory will be in effect until at least Sunday.
The Latham Water Department is experiencing problems at the water treatment plant.
Residents should not drink the water, but they can shower with soap, and use a dishwasher if it has a sanitizer.
Meanwhile, the water main break on Broadway has been repaired and water has been restored.
Run your water and this should clear any discoloration, the village advised.
