Boot, western wear chain opens first Capital Region store in Latham

Boot Barn held a ribbon cutting on Friday in Latham Farms.
This new location is the first in New York, but there are more than 300 locations nationwide.
The store also sells western clothes and protective wear for ranchers and farmers.
The new shop will create about 20 new jobs in the area, the assistant manager said.
