Boy, 14, accused of possessing 8 guns, high-capacity magazines.
Troy Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy for allegedly possessing eight handguns and several high-capacity magazines.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation last week. Police responded to the area of 8th Street and Hutton Street on Tuesday, March 19 after seeing a car with two suspects involved in this investigation. Both suspects took off on foot, but the boy was later caught.
His name is not being released because of his age. He will appear in Family Court.
Police know who the second suspect is, they said, and will update when there are more arrests. They don’t think he’s a threat to the public, they said.
