A 14-year-old Amsterdam High student is accused of having stolen guns.

Investigators got a tip Tuesday about the student having a gun in the school, they said.

The boy was found off campus a short time later with two loaded guns, said investigators, which were allegedly stolen from an Amsterdam home.

The boy was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a weapon on school property and grand larceny.

He was released to his parents.

Investigators stress no threat was made against the school or any people.
