Boy, 16, critically hurt in Troy shooting

A 16-year-old boy is in critical, but stable condition, after being shot in Troy on Thursday evening.

The shooting happened just after 6 p.m. in the area of Sixth Avenue and Swift Street. The shooting happened after a fight between two groups of people, police believe.

The suspect ran off before officers got to the scene, police said, and no arrests have been made.
