Boy, 17, charged in Troy shooting

A 17-year-old boy has been charged in a Troy shooting.

The shooting happened July 28 near 3rd and Congress streets, said police, who added the suspect and victim had been fighting.

The teen voluntarily surrendered, with some help from family, according to police.

The 32-year-old victim survived and is recovering at home.
