Boy, 17, charged with attempted murder in Albany shooting
Troy Police investigate a shooting that took place near 6th Avenue and 103rd Street around 4 p.m.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder.
The shooting happened Wednesday night near the intersection of South Pearl Street and Schuyler Street.
That’s where Albany Police found a man with a gunshot wound to his stomach, they said.
The man was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.
The suspect’s identity will not be released because of his age. He’s also charged with weapons possession, in addition to the attempted murder charge.
