Brunswick high schooler recognized for equine genetics project

Emilee Roadcap, a junior at Tamarac High School, competed in the Eastern National 4-H Roundup Equine Program's Public Speaking Contest.

Tamarac High School junior Emilee Roadcap was honored at a national public speaking competition.  

Roadcap competed in the Eastern National 4H Roundup Equine Program’s Public Speaking Contest. She placed sixth in the nation with her topic “Bred to Perfection: Equine Genetics.”

To qualify for the national competition, Emilee had to advance past Rensselaer County and regional levels to the state level.
