Calling hours for an Indian Lake homicide victim are set for Tuesday.

People can pay their respects to David Chenier, 32, Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home in Indian Lake. A funeral will immediately follow.

Chenier worked as a groundskeeper before joining a tree service, the obituary in The Post-Star reads.

He is remembered for loving the outdoors and all activities such as fishing, hunting, camping or hiking.

He loved spending time with his two daughters above all else.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, siblings, parents and 11 nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, people can make contributions to a fund for his daughter’s education.

State Police are still asking for the public’s help in trying to find a 2002 Jeep Wrangler caught on security camera footage.

They ask anyone in Indian Lake or Blue Mountain Lake to check their footage from Saturday, August 12 between 7:30 and 8:30.

Ann Favro from Saranac Lake is facing a murder charge and is in police custody.
