Campgrounds run by DEC to add same day reservations

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is making changes to reservations at the agency’s campgrounds for the upcoming season.
One of those changes is same day reservations, which will allow you to check availability and book a reservation on your way to a campground.
Reservations will be required, but campers can now book a camping reservation as late as 5 p.m.
You can also book a one-night stay at any DEC campground beginning April 7.
