This year’s heart hero is Emma Duncan – she’s 13-years-old and was born with congenital heart defects.
She had open heart surgery at four months old – and now lives an active, happy life.
This year’s stroke ambassador for the walk is Heather Wells.
She was 46-years-old and very healthy with no risk factors or warning signs, when she had a stroke last October.
The run starts at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
The walk starts at 10:10, and there are lots of activities for families and kids.
It all takes place at the Harriman State Office Building campus in Albany.
