Christmas is coming up fast.

Capital Region Toys for Tots is already putting on critical fundraisers for the holiday toy giveaway.

The organization is asking for golfers to join the annual golf tournament on Friday, August 18 at the Fairways of Halfmoon. It’s the unofficial kickoff to their season.

The organization tells NewsChannel 13 it’s in danger of having to cancel the event because of low participation, but that it’s critical to helping get children toys in time for Christmas.
