A driver escaped injury after a car goes down a 100-foot embankment.
The crash happened around 6:45 Sunday morning on Route 2, in Clarksburg, near the Golden Eagle Restaurant, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
The car went through a guardrail down the embankment, according to the Clarksburg Fire Company.
Firefighters lowered ropes to assist Massachusetts State Police to rescue the driver.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
