Car hits tree, trapping 2 inside
Two teenagers from Washington County are recovering from serious injuries after a crash earlier Friday.

The car went into a tree.
This happened this morning on County Route 153 just east of Beattie Hollow Road in the town of Salem.
Deputies found the teenagers trapped inside.
19-year-old Zachariah Miller from Shushan, in Salem, was sent to Glens Falls Hospital where he’s recovering from severe head, chest, and internal injuries.
18-year-old Patrick Stone, also of Salem, was airlifted to Albany Med for serious injuries to his head, chest and lower body.
A portion of the roadway was closed for several hours.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
