Niskayuna Police are investigating a crash in which a young person was struck by a car on Thursday morning on Troy-Schenectady Road.

The crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. in front of Bellevue Woman’s Hospital. The victim was transported by Albany Medical Center by ambulance and is in serious condition. His name is not being released because of his age.

The driver was not injured.

The Schenectady County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Niskayuna Police with the investigation.
