Albany Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the person who abandoned a cat on First Street.

The cat was left in a carrier between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of First Street between Park and Swan. The cat, now named Lettie, is being cared for at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.

Anyone with information about the person who may have owned or abandoned this cat is asked to call Albany Animal Control at 518-462-7107.
