Cat rescued from Coeymans Hollow fire

A cat needed an oxygen mask after being rescued from a fire in Coeymans Hollow.
The fire broke out around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Starr Road, investigators said.
The fire was contained to a single room, investigators said. However, a cat had breathed in a moderate amount of smoke, firefighters said.
The fire was put out in about 30 minutes, and the pet was soon returned to its owner.
Two adults and three kids live in the home. However, only two were home at the time, a mom and daughter, investigators said.
The home has significant smoke and heat damage, according to investigators.
The fire was caused by nail polish remover that rolled onto a wooden cabinet, investigators said.
No one was hurt.
