Celebration of life for Hendrickson to be held Aug. 30
A celebration of the life of philanthropist John Hendrickson will take place at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of fame on Friday, Aug. 30.
The event is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and all are welcome to pay their respects.
Hendrickson the chairman of the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame since August 2017, died unexpectedly Monday at the age of 59. His services will be private.
Hendrickson married Marylou Whitney in 1997. The couple had a large impact on the community.
Charlotte Colket Weber, owner of Live Oak Stud Farm, is a friend of Hendrickson’s. She spoke with NewsChannel 13’s Mark Mulholland about his legacy.
