It is the 200th anniversary of the completion of the Champlain Canal.
Folks celebrated on Saturday with cardboard boat races.
The event attracts hundreds of spectators to Fort Hardy Park in Schuylerville every year.
This year’s theme is Magical History Tour.
First, second and third place awards are given, in addition to the “Titanic Award” and “Most Enthusiastic Crew.”
There was food, live music by the Zucchini Brothers and lots of cardboard construction.
