Charity golf tournament in Johnstown to raise money for local veterans

JOHNSTOWN – The Longest Drive Contest tees off at Fox Run Golf Course in Johnstown on Saturday, September 17. It’s the newest fundraiser for the PGA Hope program in the Capital Region.

Contestants will start at Fox Run before being shuttled to Fulton County Airport to tee off on the runway.

Anyone who wants to participate can, with over 70 contestants already prepared for Saturday’s event.

Big Sky Country will be performing, while a craft fair runs at the same time.

All the proceeds for the event go directly to the PGA Hope program, which provides support to our local veterans.
