Chestertown man arrested for the second time in over a week on DWI charge

A Chestertown man is accused of driving a motorcycle while intoxicated – a little over a week after he was arrested on a DWI charge.

State Police stopped a motorcycle driven by Christopher Parsels, 44, on Atateka Drive in Chestertown on Aug. 13 just before 7:30 p.m. for a traffic violation. He was taken to the State Police station, where police said he refused to give a blood sample to determine the alcohol content of his blood.

Parsels was charged with DWI and aggravated unlicensed operator as well as traffic violations.

Parsels was arrested on Aug. 5 for allegedly driving drunk with two children in the vehicle. He has a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years.
