The winners are in for the chili cook-off at The Landing at Queensbury Senior Community Center.

The center hosted the competition earlier this month and just announced the winners.

The chili champion is Margaret Werner. She is a medication technician there.

The residents got to taste all the entries and make the final decision.

Students at Algonquin Middle School in Averill Park collaborated to paint rocks with kind phrases on them to be displayed near a tree outside the school.

The collection will be expanded again in the spring, and anyone can help.
