Chowderfest celebrating 25 years in Saratoga Springs

Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs turns 25 years old this Saturday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs turns 25 years old this Saturday, Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The annual event draws tens of thousands of people to downtown Saratoga Springs.
More than 80 vendors are taking part this year.

There is parking at Saratoga Hotel with free shuttles to and from downtown Saratoga Springs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow.

Some fun events to mark 25 years, including flash mobs and Saratoga Hidden Horseshoes is planting 100 horseshoes downtown for people to find and take as a souvenir.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office says they will have officers out in full force making sure everyone has a great and safe event.

The department encourages everyone not to drink and drive, and advises everyone to designate a sober driver in advance or use a ride-sharing app.

Discover Saratoga says they’re also providing some transportation for those attending the event.
