Christmas Eve Road March marks 20 years in Glens Falls A Glens Falls event to honor veterans and active duty military members is celebrating its 20th year. The Christmas Eve Road March will be held at 9 a.m. beginning at Cool Insuring Arena.

A Glens Falls event to honor veterans and active duty military members is celebrating its 20th year.

The Christmas Eve Road March will be held at 9 a.m. beginning at Cool Insuring Arena. The event is designed to show support for military personnel serving overseas and veterans who have died.

Members of the New York Army National Guard recruiting team will join event coordinator, retired Sgt. 1st Class Arthur Coon, a former recruiter and Glens Falls resident.

Also on hand for the event will be Joe Parker, a New York Army National Guard veteran who served in Iraq in 2004, and Glens Falls Mayor Bill Collins.
